A NanoMOKE 3 magnetometer with a 1.2 T dipole magnet was successfully installed at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona in Spain. The magneto-optical Kerr effect magnetometer will help the institute’s investigation and characterization of the magneto-structural properties of nanoscale-engineered materials for energy-efficiency data storage.
