A MicroWriter ML3 Baby Plus has been successfully installed in the Quantum Transport (QTRAN) Lab, led by Dr. Madhu Thalakulam, Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at IISER Thiruvananthapuram. The group’s research centres on quantum transport in nanoscale devices, and the system will support their ongoing work. The MicroWriter ML®3 Baby+ adds fast, maskless direct-write optical lithography to their workflow, giving the group the flexibility to iterate on device layouts without the turnaround time. This is expected to accelerate the design-fabricate-test cycle for the lab’s device work.
