MPI Stuttgart now has the world’s first NanoMOKE3. The hybrid Kerr magnetometer-microscope was successfully installed within AG Goering of the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems. The group have extensive expertise in X-ray studies of magnetic materials and magnetic nanostructures and will use the machine for rapid characterisation of advanced magnetic materials.
