The first ever NanoMOKE3 was successfully installed in South America, in the Department of Physics of the University of Santiago de Chile (USACH). The system will serve the group’s research into magnetisation reversal processes, and the magnetic characterisation of nanowires and nanotubes through hysteresis loops measurements. To help them with high coercivity nanostructures, the system is fitted with a dipole electromagnet able to generate fields up to 0.5-0.6 T.
